Reviews 91 points Wine Advocate "...very charming, with a lovely bouquet of lime zest, ripe pear, wheat toast and creamy new oak. On the palate, the wine is glossy and quite open knit, with nice integration and decent acidity. (WK)" 91 points Burghound "A discreet touch of wood sets off very pretty floral, pear, resin and discreet citrus aromas. There is good richness to the generously proportioned, textured and sappy middle weight flavors that possess not only fine depth but also excellent persistence on the balanced finish. (AM)"

About Domaine Ramonet (Jean-Claude Ramonet)
The family's passion for winemaking has been passed down through generations, with the Ramonet brothers Jean-Claude and Noël overseeing the 17-hectare property, which boasts a diverse range of vineyards from village level to Premier Cru and Grand Cru. Jean-Claude is now firmly in charge, and his children are also members of the team.
The range of Domaine Ramonet wines has grown over the years. The Montrachet arrived in 1978, and a vine swap with Domaine Chartron brought the Chevalier-Montrachet twenty years later. The estate acquired more vines in the Chassagne-Montrachet premiers crus in the early 1990s, then Bouzeron in 2011, followed by acquisitions or farming agreements in Jean-Claude Ramonet's own name, including the Clos des Caillerets in 2014.
Domaine Ramonet takes pride in its sustainable vineyard practices. They have been certified organic since 2017, use minimal intervention in their winemaking process, and believe that healthy soil and vines are essential to producing high-quality wines. The Ramonets have a special affection for the Premier Cru vineyards with which their grandfather, Pierre, made his name: Les Ruchottes in white and the Clos de la Boudriotte in Pinot Noir. The family's dedication to excellence is evident in their range of wines, most of which are considered the finest examples of Burgundy available today.
