Reviews 94 points Wine Advocate "...wafting from the glass with scents of crisp Anjou pear, green apple, dried white flowers, nutmeg and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly fleshy and enveloping, it's bright and precise, with a tangy spine of acidity and a long, penetrating finish. (WK)" 93-95 points Burghound "Exuberantly fresh and elegant aromas combine notes of acacia blossom, rose petal, white peach, spiced pear and a whisper of just grated lemon zest. The strikingly fine middle weight flavors are almost delicate yet display excellent intensity on the focused and highly persistent finish that flashes superb complexity. As are all the best examples of Boucheres, this is a wine of finesse with knockout length. (AM)"

About Domaine Roulot

Jean-Marc Roulot is one of Meursault’s greatest producers, an ardent advocate of purity and vibrancy, who won his stripes with hard work. After inheriting Domaine Roulot after his father’s untimely death in 1982, it took Jean-Marc years of working with mentor winemakers before he was ready to fully take the reins. Since achieving organic certification for his vineyards, he has put his own stamp of quality on the Domaine. In addition, he works with trusted growers around Burgundy to source only the finest fruit for a small négociant label that carries his name.

Restraint is key for keeping Jean-Marc’s wines crystalline and pure. In the vineyards, this means de-budding to keep yields low, and a manual harvest focused on acidity. In the cellar, Jean-Marc prefers fermentations in wooden cuves, a careful and judicious stirring of the lees, and a combination of oak and stainless-steel aging. The results are extraordinarily complex, terrior driven wines, with serious pedigree. Jean Marc’s wines are regarded as some of the most highly coveted in Burgundy.
