2019 Domaine Eleni et Edouard Vocoret Chablis Le Bas de Chapelot #154434919
Reviews 91 points Wine Advocate "The 2019 Chablis Bas de Chapelot has turned out very nicely in bottle, unwinding in the glass with notes of orchard fruit, fresh pastry, citrus oil, white flowers, peach and beeswax. Medium to full-bodied, layered and textural, it's fleshy and concentrated, concluding with a long, saline finish. (WK)"

About Domaine Eleni et Edouard Vocoret
Like many newly married couples, Edouard and Eleni wanted to plant their roots. But instead of a 3-bedroom house in the suburbs, they started with a 4.9-acre vineyard from Edouard's family's Domaine Vocoret in Chablis.
Eleni and Edouard's love story involves meeting in New Zealand during a harvest in 2010. Edouard is the 7th generation of a winegrowing family, and Eleni was cutting her teeth in the cellar. They traveled around New Zealand, Australia, and other countries for a few years before returning to Chablis, where Eleni learned from the best - as Assistant Winemaker to the legendary Vincent Dauvissat. Meanwhile, Edouard continued his work at the family estate.
Today, they are part of Chablis's exciting new generation of winemakers. Their work has been described as "serious Chablis that's well worth seeking out" and "decidedly superior" by the Wine Advocate, and James Suckling admired their wine's "delicious elegance and exquisite texture." They may be new on the wine scene but trust us when we say you want to keep this husband-wife duo on your radar!
