The Guiberteau family acquired a prime parcel of this land, the Clos des Carmes, in the 1950s, and it is planted with equal parts Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. This valuable vineyard paved the way for Roman Guiberteau to create highly sought-after wines.
