Offering up aromas of yellow orchard fruit, dried white flowers, beeswax and mandarin, it's full-bodied, racy and incisive, with a tightly wound but concentrated core, tangy acids and a long, mineral finish. In keeping with the vintage, this is a tensile, precise rendition of Les Alliees, and it will need some time. It was disgorged in June 2018 with four grams per liter dosage. (WK)"

Alexandre Chartogne is considered to be one of the top young winemakers in the world of Champagne. His impressive background includes working with and learning from his mentor Ansleme Selosse, as well as inheriting over 300 years of family winemaking tradition at the ancient estate vineyard in Merfy.
