Sweet, plush and wild; a no-holds-barred Mazis-Chambertin with a captivating combination of red and darker fruits and savory soil tones. Finishes classically dry and long, with suave tannins. Not many other vineyards can provide this distinctive blend of wildness and refined texture. (ST)" 91-93 points Burghound "A very fresh and restrained nose features plenty of classic Gevrey sauvage nuances on the distinctly earthy wild red berry fruit suffused nose. There is excellent intensity to the mineral-driven, powerful and tautly muscular medium weight flavors that deliver very fine length on the austere but not really rustic finale. Like the Mazoyeres this will require at least 12 years of cellaring though it should drink well after 8 to 10. (AM)"
