The palate is medium-bodied with supple red berry fruit, good volume with a refined finish. This is a fine Clos Vougeot that should age well. (NM)" 91 points Vinous "Medium red, with an unfiltered appearance. Medicinal cherry, licorice, fresh herbs and spicy oak on the nose. Succulent and sweet in the mouth, showing good breadth to its cherry fruit. Nicely integrated acidity gives the wine good shape in the mouth but the dusty tannins are a touch herbal in the early going. Still, this wine should offer relatively early appeal owing to its attractive floral lift. (ST)"
