Reviews 91 points John Gilman "The wine offers up a ripe and again, very pure bouquet of plums, black raspberries, chocolate, a lovely base of soil tones, vanillin oak and a very pungent topnote of violets (which makes the reference to violets in the Bourgogne seem far-fetched!). On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and velvety on the attack, with a sappy core of black fruit, ripe tannins and lovely focus and balance on the long, tangy and complex finish.
