About Domaine Gramenon

Rooted in the northeastern corner of the southern Rhône, Domaine Gramenon, under the stewardship of Michèle Aubéry-Laurent and her son, Maxime François Laurent, exemplifies a beacon of eco-conscious viticulture. The estate's biodynamic practices and the use of organic farming methods extend beyond their 26-hectare vineyard, permeating their entire lifestyle.

Wine production at Domaine Gramenon emphasizes preserving the intrinsic quality of their grapes, which are farmed from both fledgling and centenary vines. They employ natural fermentations using indigenous yeasts, and their reds are bottled unfined and unfiltered. The fermentation and aging processes vary by cuvée, maintaining the uniqueness of each, and are done in either concrete tanks, barriques, or demi-muids, with a strong emphasis on gravity feed methods.

Their wines are a diversified assortment, including AOC Vinsobres and a spectrum of Côtes-du-Rhône parcels. Each wine vividly expresses its vineyard's character, brought to life through their minimal interventionist philosophy and daring winemaking decisions, such as the restrained use of sulfur.

The rising star, Maxime François Laurent, has also contributed his innovative flair to the estate's portfolio, producing four distinct cuvées under his name. The resulting wines are a blend of depth and elegance with a generous touch, distinguished by the domaine's sustainable ethos.

Domaine Gramenon crafts wines that articulate the essence of their terroir with remarkable clarity and distinction, making them worthy of recognition and enjoyment by wine connoisseurs worldwide.
