Medium ruby in color, it begins with streaks of saline, tobacco and tea leaves, graphite and dried herbs over a core of briary fruits. The medium-bodied palate surprises with its concentrated wild berry fruit and fireworks of fresh acidity, powdery tannins and great detail. It will continue to unwind in bottle over the next 3-5 years and has what it needs for a long life in bottle.
