The palate is medium-bodied with firm but quite chiselled, almost chalky tannins, certainly very saline with a focused, peppery finish that leaves the mouth tingling for 60 seconds afterwards. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and classy, with a fine core, lovely mineral drive and grip, ripe tannins and a long, focused and complex finish of lovely balance.
