It's downslope from Faconnieres, but the soils are shallow, swiftly giving way to the mother rock. (WK)" 92-94 points Vinous "...has a lovely bouquet, perhaps the most floral from the Domaine this year, with wilted rose petals and a touch of violet filtering through the mainly red fruit. Fine delineation and focus. The palate is well-balanced with fine tannins, the 50% whole bunches judiciously used, and fine grip, finishing with a touch of curry leaf and white pepper. It fans out gently as it aerates in the glass. Great potential. (NM)"
