Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a sweet core of fruit framed by ripe, powdery tannins, it will offer a broad drinking window. (WK)" 92-94 points Vinous "...has a well-defined bouquet similar to the Le Beaurepaire, a little chalkier perhaps, mainly blackberry and bilberry fruit, tightly knit. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit and slightly more cracked black pepper. Good density, firmer backbone with impressive density towards the finish. Give this 4-5 years in bottle if you can. Two barrels made (due to expand in the future...hoorah!) (NM)"
