It's framed by lively acids and powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, very well balanced, the new oak (25%) is neatly integrated. This builds in the mouth and delivers a welcome peppery note on the finish. Excellent. (NM)"

Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet is a rising star among Burgundy producers, thanks to the hard work and talent of its seventh-generation winemaker, Amélie Berthaut, and her husband, Nicolas Faure.
